Ubisoft Singapore has discussed UI customization in Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced, highlighting that the game can be played completely without a heads-up display. If you’re curious about what this experience looks like, a short gameplay teaser is now available on Twitter.

The remake is visually impressive, showcasing scenes like Edward Kenway strolling through rain-soaked streets or surveying a location from a rooftop. The best feature is that you can easily toggle immersion on or off with the push of a button. This means that if you need guidance or a better sense of your surroundings before diving back into full immersion mode, Resynced provides the perfect solution.

You can customize every single element of the game, including VFX, blood effects, enemy health bars, sneaking outlines, and more. If playing without any HUD doesn’t suit your combat style, there’s also the Simple preset, which removes various reminders and pop-ups for a cleaner experience.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will be released on July 9th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. There is still a lot we don’t know about the game. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming months. You can also check out actor Matt Ryan’s insights on the new scenes and how they add depth to Edward’s character and story.
